Each one of our best diving resorts, from Columbus Isle to Finolhu Villas, offers a tailored experience with customizable services.

All PADI® courses include full equipment rentals, including cylinders, wetsuits, lead belts, stab jackets, dive regulators, flippers, masks and snorkels. In addition, your rental will include professional instruction and boat trips, along with a PADI diploma certificate and handbook available on-site at extra cost. At certain resorts, dive computers are also available for rental.

To reach your aquatic paradise, boat trips will be provided by the resort. However, if you’re looking to provide your party with an extra-exclusive experience, private boat rentals will be available at an additional cost. Never dived? Never fear. Our PADI® Discover Scuba Diving packages will provide you with a safe sink into scuba diving, guided by one of our very own specialists. No certification is necessary for these immersive introductions to the wonders under the sea, but you will get one at the end! For kids, our PADI® Bubble Maker class at select resorts is a wonderful way of introducing your little ones to diving. It allows children ages 8 to 10 to dive to a maximum depth of 6.5 feet in a protected zone. If you’ve never been on a scuba diving trip, this is the perfect deal for you!

Club Med offers a seamless scuba diving experience including group lessons for adults and children of all skill levels. If you decide to take the plunge, we’ll provide you with state-of-the-art equipment, qualified instructors and dive locations that are all just a boat ride away from the resorts.

For certified divers

These packages are designed to meet the needs of those who've taken scuba trips in the past and are either still looking for a guided experience or trying to get out on their own. If you’re certified but never dived, our PADI® Open Water will take you down to undersea wonders. For expert divers, you can participate in our advanced, accompanied or autonomous diver packages with one of the following certifications:

- CMAS 1 or 2 stars
- PADI Open Water Certification or equivalent
- Local government-issued certification

Kani – The Maldives

The Maldives is one of the best places in the world to spot manta rays and whale sharks which should be more than enough to convince anyone to travel here. Reef sharks including whitetip and grey reef are quite common, together with big tunas, Napoleon fish, eagle and stingrays. Also known as North Kaafu, North Male is the best known and explored diving area of the Maldives, having long been recognized as providing a great variety of scuba diving, beautiful scenery and a geographical location that makes it relatively easy to get to - the international airport is in Male, the port of departure for many of the Maldives liveaboards.
